I, Alien: Memoirs of a UFO Spy
A Foundation, A Gateway, A Beginning

I, Alien: Memoirs of a UFO Spy – Tony Topping, he book you see here—I, Alien: Memoirs of a UFO Spy—represents a chapter in my life that I once viewed with considerable disappointment. When I wrote it, I poured years of experience, decades of observation, and the weight of contactee harassment by covert interests onto the page, believing I was delivering a definitive account. Instead, what I produced was something I have come to see differently with time and reflection.

This is the story of that book—and what came after.

Where I Was Then

When I wrote I, Alien, I was operating from a place of raw experience. My life had been defined by sustained contacts with non-human intelligences, by encounters that took me into the heart of government secrecy, and by a conviction that the truth about UFOs was not merely hidden but actively suppressed. I wrote with the urgency of someone who had seen too much to remain silent.

The book is what it is: a memoir of a life lived on the edge of the unexplained. It documents my journey from a young man encountering the inexplicable to a researcher navigating the complex world of intelligence agencies, clandestine operations, and the shadowy intersection between human and non-human affairs.

At the time, I believed it was my final word on the subject. I was wrong.

The Disillusionment
There is no avoiding the truth: I was profoundly disappointed with the book. The reception, the reach, the impact—none of it matched what I had hoped for. After years of research, after experiences that would break most people, I expected something more. The book became a symbol of frustration, a reminder of how difficult it is to communicate the truly extraordinary to a world unprepared to receive it.

I stepped back. I retreated from the very work that had defined my life. The targeting I had endured—from those who wished to silence me, from those who dismissed me, from the weight of carrying truths too heavy for one person—took its toll. There were moments when I questioned everything: my sanity, my purpose, my very reason for continuing.

A Return to the Breathtaking

I returned. The whole reality from the first incident at the Marine Lake to the incidents in Yorkshire, looking at every incident, the aliens had not left a trail of havoc, but a calling card, and as my work grew I realised I was a scribe of the gods like Enki, it has gone into something deeper. I created marinelakeufos, and I may need a marinelakeuap, but the site marinelakeufos has become synonymous with my research, and I saw it with new eyes. The breathtaking beauty of that place—the Victorian lake, the nesting birds, the quiet waters reflecting the sky—reminded me why I began this journey in the first place. For I decoded that the whole foundation, the whole driving engine, is a contact experience, that is alien to aliens, a force of god like power, a civilisation that lost form, and became, light, I, Alien highlights in the journals the deep levels of corruption in keeping the secret we are not alone,

My new work operates at a different level. It explores the intersection of consciousness and the UFO phenomenon in ways I could not articulate when I wrote I, Alien. It embraces the atemporal, the non-local, the quantum dimensions of what we call “contact.” It acknowledges that the phenomenon is not merely physical but deeply intertwined with the nature of mind, perception, and reality itself.

The Book as Foundation
And so I have come to a new understanding of I, Alien.

That book was never meant to be the final word. It was never meant to be the last chapter of my research. It was the foundation upon which everything else would be built—a gate that opened onto a larger landscape I could not yet see.

The book captures where I was then: raw, urgent, unpolished, but honest. It is a document of a man confronting the impossible and refusing to look away. It records the first wave of encounters, the early observations, and the staggering experiences of humans in the parallel, the formative experiences that shaped everything that followed.

Without I, Alien, I could not have arrived at where I am now.

Where I Am Now

Today, my work has evolved. It incorporates:

The Temporal Zone: An exploration of how time, consciousness, and non-local communication intersect

Quantum Consciousness: A deeper understanding of how the brain may function as a receiver for information beyond space and time

The Marine Lake UAP: A continuing encounters and comms with the Bio Plasmic into one of the most persistent and significant encounters of my creative direction.

Interdimensional Contact: A framework for understanding non-human intelligences as operating across dimensional boundaries, not merely across interstellar distances

My current research builds upon the foundations laid in I, Alien but extends far beyond it. I am not the same researcher I was when I wrote that book. I have been broken, rebuilt, and transformed by the very phenomena I study.

A Bridge Between Then and Now

If you read I, Alien, you will see the seeds of what has grown since. You will recognise the early glimpses of a larger truth that I am only now beginning to articulate fully. The book is not perfect—no book that deals with the truly inexplicable ever can be. But it is honest. It is the testimony of a man who was there, who experienced, who suffered, and who kept going.

I invite you to read it. Not as a definitive answer, but as a beginning. As a gateway. As the foundation upon which a far more ambitious structure has been built.
